Spencer and I were not the only ones enjoying the Holiday weekend around Grand Lake. These youngsters were frolicking with their mother in the meadows and forests surrounding the lake.
Some people believe life begins in the womb, some believe it begins at forty, and others believe life begins after retirement; I am here to tell you that LIFE BEGINS AT GRAND LAKE O' the CHEROKEES.

Of the 527 readers who participated in the survey, 399 said location, while COST OF LIVING came in a distant second with 97 votes. The few remaining votes do not even merit attention.
Well people, guess what? GRAND LAKE O' the CHEROKEES and the surrounding communities rank extremely high both in LOCATION and COST OF LIVING.
